ZENGO DOHA GETS READY TO WELCOME GUESTS FOR AN ENTIRELY NEW FRIDAY EXPERIENCE





Zunch, Zengo’s latest Thai Curry Experience, promises guests an invigorating dining journey every Friday from 12pm to 4pm



Zengo, the award-winning renowned Pan-Asian restaurant, and 2021 Fact Dining award winner for Best South East Asian Restaurant in Doha, introduces Zunch, a new culinary heaven on Friday August 13. For the first time ever, guests will get to enjoy, for 2 hours, between 12pm and 4pm, an exotic selection of unlimited Thai curry dishes, prepared with sumptuous tastes and accompanied by blends of various sauces and spices.


The diverse Zunch menu offering provides a variety of interesting Thai curries with choices of fish, beef, Duck or Chicken. Each dish is full of flavours and perfectly spiced, with the dish’s spiciness varying on the type of curry and as per every guest’s request. Typically, there are three main types of Thai curries: red, yellow, and green. The colour of the chilies and other ingredients gives each dish its distinct hue and flavour.


The menu starts with the Appetizer section, where Edamame is served as a starter with two options, based on preference and taste, whether salted or chili garlic. Moving on to the main dishes, a total of 6 Thai curry dishes are available. Priced at only QAR 139 per person, guests can select 3 of their favourites and get offered an unlimited serving for 2 hours.





Starting with the first dish on the menu and the spiciest of all, is the shrimp curry, which includes a yellow curry broth, vegetables, and corn. In the yellow curry broth category as well, guests can select either the duck or beef curry. Moving on to the green Thai curries, is the vegetarian dish Bok Choy dish, which appears as Thai Green Curry in addition to the Corn Fed Chicken Curry. Finally, the last item on the menu is the Hammour Curry served with red curry sauce.


Spearheading Zengo’s kitchen, is new head chef Sandro Montero all the way from Peru, with an impressive 15 years of experience in the gastronomic scene and especially in Japanese fusion cuisine. Chef Sandro takes pride in creating mouth-watering flavours infused from his global travels – Peru, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, and Indonesia. He describes his food as simple and modern, yet distinctive in flavors, adding a touch of creative twist and incorporating the freshest ingredients to prepare uniquely refined dishes to please all palates.


Entering Zengo, guests will find their senses tantalised by the fragrance and subtle tastes of the far East. Zunch offers guests a wonderful opportunity to delight their cravings for Thai food with this special offering.





Zengo will be officially welcoming guests this Friday August 13 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm for the Zunch experience. Located at the Kempinski Residences and Suites, Doha, on the 61st floor, Zengo opens every Sunday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am.
