Vacheron Constantin, the luxury Swiss watchmaking Maison with nearly 270 years of expertise and continuous history, is delighted to announce its participation in the annual Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition from the 20th to the 25th February 2023.
Vacheron Constantin dedicates this year’s exhibition to "The Anatomy of Beauty®” theme which is a tribute to the detailed finishing work performed by in-house artisans. Watch connoisseurs and collectors will embark on a journey between simple and high complications, highlighting timepieces among the Traditionnelle, Patrimony, Historiques et Égerie collections, accompanied by the expertise of an in-house watchmaker.
“Participating in the prestigious and renowned Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition once again this year brings deeper ties between the region and the Maison. We are delighted to showcase our most recent novelties and present the Maison’s world of Haute Horlogerie to watch initiated and connoisseurs. With the opening of our second standalone boutique in Doha last year, Vacheron Constantin is committed to demonstrate its dedication to the market.” says Christophe Ramel, Regional Director of Vacheron Constantin Middle East.
A window into Vacheron Constantin's timepieces:
Traditionnelle perpetual calendar ultra-thin
The Traditionnelle perpetual calendar ultra-thin, designed for women is equipped with the in-house Calibre 1120 QP and displays the days, dates, months and years on a four-year cycle. Featuring a slim case and a sapphire caseback the timepiece reveals the 276 movement components, finished with a circular-grained plate, Côtes de Genève motif, hand-bevelling, circular satin-finished holes, and a Maltese cross oscillating weight. The 36.5mm case is available in 18K white gold or 18K 5N pink gold and is adorned with a bezel and lugs set with 76 round-cut diamonds. The dial is adorned with blue-grey tinted mother-of-pearl for the white gold model and white mother-of-pearl for the pink gold model. The watch also features an interchangeable alligator leather strap that can be fitted without any need for tools.
Traditionnelle tourbillon jewellery
The sophisticated mechanical tourbillon complication is viewed through the prism of jewellery-making virtuosity. Sculpted in 18 carats white gold, this prestigious timepiece reinterprets the heritage of the Traditionnelle collection through an elegant 39 mm stepped round case, a slender bezel, a fluted caseback and a dial swept over by dauphine-shaped hands. The collection’s characteristic design nonetheless gives way to the flamboyance of diamonds. Bedecked in 559 brilliant-cut and baguette-cut diamonds totalling more than 6.5 carats, the Traditionnelle tourbillon jewellery watch highlights the technical sophistication of the tourbillon, whose low frequency makes it possible to admire each rotation. This majestic interpretation embraces the wrist with a dazzling halo of light on a blue satin strap secured by a diamond-set gold folding clasp and comes with a second blue strap in alligator leather.
Traditionnelle perpetual calendar chronograph
The exceptional 950 platinum watch contains two high-quality complications: a column-wheel chronograph and a perpetual calendar requiring no adjustment until 2100. The perpetual calendar displays a moon phase with a starry sky in 950 platinum and two three-dimensional moons. What’s more, the tachymeter scale painted on the dial makes it possible to determine an average speed thanks to the central hand of the chronograph.
Traditionnelle moon phase
The Traditionnelle moon phase watch in white gold has been subtly redesigned to ensure optimal elegance and harmoniously balanced shapes. It reveals the lunar display through the prism of virtuoso jewellery skills. Entirely paved with diamonds, this bejewelled version of the existing model has been subtly redesigned to ensure perfectly proportioned shapes. The dial is graced with dainty snow setting composed of 548 diamonds. The gemsetting continues with 225 round-cut diamonds adorning the bezel, case middle, lugs and crown. Powered by in-house Calibre 1410 AS, this timepiece displays a high-precision moon phase on a star-studded blue disc and requires no correction in 122 years.
