TRILOBE, THE EXQUISITE HOUR
We are watchmakers of poetry, and Trilobe is a craftsman who shapes time. In
a deliberately composite approach, the Maison is renewing itself by exploring
for the first time the world of lyrical horological complications, with a timepiece
adorned with a moon phase.
Reinventing time and breaking away from preconceived ideas requires not just
audacity, but true poetry. Trilobe watches are a reminder that time is a treasure,
and that the hour is exquisite!
TRILOBE ENTERS THE WORLD OF WATCH COMPLICATIONS
With this new edition belonging to its first collection, "Les
Matinaux", Trilobe wants to push poetry to a higher level, by
linking time with its most ancient element: the sky.
In this new temporal setting, an enchanting celestial door opens
at the heart of the dial, within a polished and satin-finished
flange. It reveals a ballet of stars dancing on a sapphire crystal
to the rhythm of the seconds. Beneath this celestial waltz, two
moons intertwine in a rhythmic you-and-me. They face each
other in the night sky of the sunray disc, metamorphosing to
the rhythm of this new X-Centric calibre.
A WALTZ OF CELESTIAL WONDERS, LYRICAL AND ENCHANTING
On a sand-blasted dial, Trilobe takes its eccentric complication one
step further with a waltz of moons. A gear wheel with 59 cogs evokes
the orbit of the Moon around the Earth, completing a full cycle of
29.5 days.
Through this mechanism, the moons quietly reveal their
age. For the first time, the moon phase is co-axially linked to the
seconds wheel, under a dynamic and mesmerizing starry sky. Les
Matinaux are thus honored: three rotating rings bear the Maison’s
first complication.
AN INVITATION TO CONTEMPLATION AND ENCHANTMENT
Through its dreamlike essence, the moon phase resonates with Trilobe’s
guiding principle: to re-enchant our relationship with time.
"Être dans la lune" * is to surrender to the magic of the present moment, to
savor the "exquisite hour". It’s letting yourself be carried away by the emotion
of a starry sky from your window, by the palpable excitement of a bright full
moon in the darkness. Let’s take the time to adore the stars, to marvel at the
heavens, far from the immediacy of our daily lives. It’s a welcome break in the
