Elevating The Ned Doha's dining and entertainment experiences, the acclaimed chefs bring decades of expertise and accolades to craft unique dining experiences.
The Ned Doha, a hotel and private members’ club, proudly welcomes three seasoned chefs to its team: Jérôme Voltat, joining as Executive Sous Chef for Ned’s Club’s Private Dining Room; Marsan Ortega, joining as Sushi Head Chef; and Jamal Mustafa, taking the helm as Head Chef for Hadika. Their collective international experience and culinary expertise bring new flavours and experiences to guests and members.
Jérôme Voltat will oversee the dining offering at the private club, Ned’s Club Doha, bringing years of extensive experience working with two Michelin-starred restaurants around the world including Le Gavroche (London, UK) with Chef Michel Roux Jr.; Pic Valence (Valence, France) with Chef Anne-Sophie; Domaine de Châteauvieux (Geneva, Switzerland) with Chef de Cuisine Philippe Chevrier; Le Bristol Hôtel (Paris, France) with Executive Chef Eric Fréchon; and Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons (Oxford, UK) under the guidance of Chef Raymond Blanc. In addition to these experiences, Jérôme has also held prestigious positions at Rosewood London as the Head Chef Sketch Mayfair, and a few other notable restaurants in Beverly Hills.
Marsan Ortega, an award-winning Sushi Chef, enjoys a rich background of over 15 years in Japanese cuisine. Ortega has honed his skills at prominent venues, including AI-KISU Restaurant at LUX* Resorts and Hotels in Grand Bay, Mauritius, and the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Manila, Philippines. His expertise in sushi and Japanese dishes, combined with a dedication to premium ingredients and innovative presentation, aims to provide guests with a unique and refined dining experience.
Jamal Mustafa, the new Jordanian Head Chef at Hadika, the hotel’s authentic Levantine garden restaurant, adds a wealth of experience gained during his tenure at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl Doha. Mustafa blends traditional flavors with modern culinary techniques to deliver distinctive Middle Eastern dishes. His dedication to excellence, creativity, and sustainability resonates with the hotel’s commitment to providing memorable and high-quality food and beverage choices.
