MATCHESFASHION announce the Grand Tour Italy Part II in partnership with Marie-Louise Sciò, founder of Issimo and the CEO and Creative Director of the Pellicano Hotels Group.
The three-part tour of Rome, Florence, Naples & Ischia will celebrate the return of global travel and showcase MATCHESFASHION’s exclusive vacation capsules through a series of unforgettable events from private art tours to cultural and culinary experiences. The journey will be captured in a cinematic mini-series, shared with MATCHESFASHION audiences worldwide.
The launch of Marie-Louise Scio and Robert Rabensteiner’s vacation edits online and our pop-up in Rome will mark the first stop of the tour, followed by an event and installation at 5 Carlos Place in London before heading to Florence and Naples.

Over the four days, the MATCHESFASHION pop-up on the iconic Piazza De’Ricci square will showcase an edit of our vacation collections and exclusive capsules. A cocktail party and dinner at local’s favourite Pierluigi restaurant will launch the Rome residency which will be followed by a weekend of shopping, eating and dancing at La Posta Vecchia hotel.
FLORENCE | 10th June 2022– 12th June 2022
On the Friday evening, Marie Louise-Scio and Robert Rabensteiner will host a dinner in the Palazzo Corsini Al Parione. Over the weekend, guests will enjoy a curated itinerary celebrating Italian culture and food including a private art tour of the city.
NAPLES & ISCHIA | 19th July 2022– 22nd July 2022
MATCHESFASHION’s four-day vacation residency at the Mezzatorre hotel will mark the last stop of the tour. Following one night in Naples, guests will travel by boat to Ischia to the Mezzatorre hotel for an evening of dinner and dancing and a weekend of leisure which include eating, shopping and relaxing by the sea.
MATCHESFASHION have collaborated with designers including Gabriela Hearst, Johanna Ortiz, Emilia Wickstead, Etro and Commas to launch over 45 exclusive vacation capsules across womenswear, menswear and home.
This innovative retail experience is at the forefront of MATCHESFASHION’s approach to engaging with customers through immersive global experiences that seamlessly integrate the physical with the digital.
