MATCHESFASHION CELEBRATES MARNI MARKET WITH INSTALLATION AT 5 CARLOS PLACE

MATCHESFASHION is delighted to welcome Marni Market to 5 Carlos Place, the first time the brand has showcased the full collection in London. Presenting a series of hand-woven chairs, rocking chairs, benches and stools in metal and PVC, as well as accessories such resin trays and fruit baskets. The collection includes decorative products such as candle holders in terracotta, sculptures inspired by nature, cushions, rugs in different shapes and colors, as well as colorful hammocks, bringing a touch of joy to moments of relax. The Market also includes hand-woven Basket Bags and Stripe Bags as well as Crochet Bags and Fish Bags.

Simon Chilvers, Creative Director at MATCHESFASHION

“The creative idea for celebrating Marni Market Goes to MATCHESFASHION was pretty much delivered to us on a plate. It was the first time Marni had done this brilliant brand spin off of artisanal accessories and furniture in London, so alongside its takeover at 5 Carlos Place, we commissioned Jermaine Francis to collaborate with the team on capturing the pieces within the British capital in all their colourful and quirky glory. We had long admired Jermaine’s original eye for documentary imagery and coupled with his interest in interacting with everyday environments, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to work with him.”

Visit 5 Carlos Place to view the full collection from Wednesday 2nd June.
