MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MILAN LAUNCHES NEW LA VIA DEL SETA GOURMET OFFER

Mandarin Oriental, Milan has launched a tempting new accommodation package for gourmands to celebrate the reopening of Seta, its renowned two-Michelin-starred restaurant.

The hotel is housed in a series of elegant 18th-century buildings in the heart of the city and steps away from the fashion district and the artistic neighbourhood of Brera. By booking La Via del Seta, guests have the opportunity to stay in luxurious accommodation and be taken on a gastronomic journey designed by the hotel’s acclaimed Chef Antonio Guida.

The La Via del Seta tasting menu includes a selection of Chef Antonio’s signature dishes, including Oysters with potatoes, friggitelli peppers and champagne sauce and his legendary variation on risotto, the delectable Risotto with raspberry and herb cream.

Considered one of the Italy’s culinary leaders, Chef Antonio has always been fascinated by culinary alchemy and has travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. His cuisine is elegant and clear, and boasts a sublime combination of technique, research, and traditional flavours from the south of Italy.

The dining experience can be enjoyed during an al fresco dinner in the elegant Seta courtyard or the restaurant’s sophisticated inner space. For small groups of up to four people, the Duomo Private Dining Room, designed by the atelier Fornasetti and featuring bespoke furnishing and pieces from the iconic Italian design brand, is also available.

Bookable until 31 December 2021, La Via del Seta is priced from EUR 700 per night, and includes:

  • Accommodation in one of the hotel’s elegant rooms and suites

  • Daily breakfast for two, either from room service or in the Mandarin Bar & Bistrot

  • Early check-in at 12pm
