from 24th to 29th of February 2020
Maison Boucheron will take part in the 17th edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches exhibition. This exceptional exhibition offers a great aspirational luxury experience and attracts every year more than four hundred international luxury brands from all over the world. During 6 days, this unique exhibition is open to all jewellery and timepieces connoisseurs to learn, buy and see unique pieces, gemstones and diamonds from the most celebrated fine jewellery houses exposed in five halls of Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in glamorous West Bay district.
“The Middle East is certainly the area where customers understand best what Boucheron is today. There are few opportunities through the year where our clients can discover such a wide creative offer. We are delighted to see the Maison represented with an exceptional visibility at the DJWE, an event that has been increasingly attracting the world’s finest brands and connoisseurs. Qatar is one of our strongholds in the Middle East and we are pleased to witness the steady growth with our local partner, Fifty One East. As the country celebrates the Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020, we are honored to share our savoir-faire which extends to 162 years of constantly seeking to develop our technical, artistic and aesthetic performance, and thus be recognized today as the most contemporary and stylish French High Jewellery Maison.” says Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, Chief Executive Officer of Boucheron.
“I invite our clientele to visit our new booth which has been redesigned this year to pay tribute to our family home on 26, Place Vendôme where we will present our novelties and latest High Jewellery collections,” she added.
The Boucheron booth
The new booth showcases a unique Parisian style design which recalls the historical Boucheron Hôtel Particulier on Place Vendôme in Paris. Its interior integrates all the codes of the new Boucheron design concept: displaying the most incredible Boucheron creations in a contemporary muffled atmosphere. The façade reinterprets the vocabulary of the Winter Garden typical architecture as well: it uses the Parisian codes such as the molded frames in dark marble, the black metal frames, and the symmetry specific to French classicism, turning it into an iconic signature.
The Boucheron collections
Emblematic High Jewellery pieces will be presented alongside new jewellery creations, embodying the savoir-faire of the Maison’s craftsmen.
A selection of new necklaces from the exceptional 2020 High Jewellery Signature collection will be showcased in preview, paying tribute to the innovative Question Mark necklace invented by Boucheron in 1879. Some other exclusive High Jewellery creations never unveiled yet will also be presented at the occasion of the DJWE, such as new Serpent Bohème necklaces. A selection of master pieces from “Paris, vu du 26”, 2019 High Jewellery collection will be showcased as well, in honor to the Parisian roots of the Maison.
This year, Boucheron is also presenting for the first time in Doha its new jewelry Spring-Summer creations, from Quatre, Serpent Bohème, Animaux de Collection and Plume de Paon collections.
