JAEGER-LECOULTRE PARTICIPATES IN THE 30TH EDITION OF JEWELLERY ARABIA BAHRAIN

Swiss watchmaker, Jaeger-LeCoultre announces its participation at the 30th Edition of Jewellery Arabia – the Middle East’s leading jewellery and watch exhibition. To celebrate this momentous year, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be showcasing novelties that reflect the Maison’s expertise in the art of fine watchmaking.

The Maison has highlighted the theme of the iconic Reverso this year. Whether draped in enamel, engravings or gemstones, the Reverso is unfailingly unique representing the very best of Jaeger-LeCoultre. Since its creation in 1931, Reverso has created many timeless stories, establishing it as the icon of Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The booth will showcase some of the newest timepieces from the Reverso line such as the recently launched Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar, preserving the legendary spirit of the original 1931 model whilst incorporating the contemporary aesthetic cues of 21st-century watchmaking. Greater depth of detail, refined execution and subtle textures define this latest release which brings a subtle touch of modern elegance to its reinterpretation of two iconic Jaeger-LeCoultre complications — the triple calendar and the Duoface.

Along with the Reverso, the Maison will also be showcasing key novelties such as the Master collection defined by true technical excellence and its celebrated round design, the Polaris collection that is the definition of the modern sports watch embodying the elegance of Jaeger-LeCoultre with a distinctive spirit of adventure and the newly launched Rendez-Vous Shooting Star timepieces that made its debut earlier this year at Watches & Wonders. With captivating diamond-set bezel, combined with the delicate sparkle of the deep blue aventurine dial, this sparkling splendour captures the rare and unpredictable nature of the shooting star.

Continually expanding its creative and cultural universe, Jaeger-LeCoultre recently announced a new collaboration with the renowned lettering artist, Alex Trochut, as the latest instalment in its ‘Made of Makers’ programme – a series of collaborations with artists, designers, and craftsmen from disciplines outside watchmaking and extending the dialogue that exists between horology and art.

For Jaeger-LeCoultre, Alex created a meaningful representation of La Grande Maison’s values through a new and boldly contemporary alphabet style inspired by Art Deco, the 1931 Alphabet. Guests at the exhibition will get a first-hand experience of this collaboration at the engraving counter inside the booth where they will be introduced to a new style of personalized engraving on a Reverso case-back using the 1931 Alphabet as well as get a chance to utilise the strap bar that offers superior quality watch bands and leather watch straps for Jaeger-LeCoultre watches.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the prestigious 30th edition of Jewellery Arabia and welcome watch connoisseurs from the region to experience the 189 years of luxury watchmaking expertise, inventiveness and craftsmanship that define Jaeger-LeCoultre. From the timeless Reverso to exquisite pieces for women like the Rendez-Vous Shooting Star, we are proud to showcase pieces exclusively brought over to the region for this occasion, that highlight the Maison’s association with spheres of excellence, horology, art, and rare craftsmanship’’, says Nader Iskander, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Middle East, India and South Africa Brand Director.
