JAEGER-LECOULTRE AT DOHA JEWELLERY AND WATCHES EXHIBITION 2020

Jaeger-LeCoultre, along with their Qatari agent Ali Bin Ali Luxury, are proud to announce their participation at the Doha Jewellery and Watches exhibition 2020, which will take place from February 24th until February 29th 2020.

The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, in addition to being one of the most prestigious events in its category in the region, is also a precious journey to the very heart of glamour. At DJWE exclusivity, legacy and unique craftsmanship combine to tell the unforgettable story behind each extraordinary piece.

Guests and dignitaries are invited to visit Jaeger-LeCoultre’s booth at the Ali Bin Ali Luxury Pavilion at the DECC, the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, where the Maison will be showcasing a stunning collection of pieces selected specifically for the occasion from 2019 novelties.

These unique pieces include the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day, setting the stage for an all-new vision of the iconic Night & Day function. Combining gold, mother-of-pearl and diamonds adorning the generous 36mm case and an uncompromising attention to detail, the feature is as balanced as ever. Another piece from the Rendez-Vous family is the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Moon, with a wholly original prong setting. Two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds flow along the outline of the bezel and continue to the heart of the mother-of-pearl dial. A new vision of moon phases enhances the model with pure soul and femininity.

Another notable timepiece on exhibit will be the Reverso Tribute Duoface. The name alone evokes a promise: that of the ingenious Duoface concept developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre for the Reverso in 1994. This high-precision watchmaking feat conceals a revolution universally appreciated by lovers of fine mechanisms: two time zones on two separate dials powered by a single movement. Last but not the least, the Reverso One Duetto in pink gold for ladies, which is instantly recognizable thanks to the thin case inspired by a famed 1930s model, shows that it still has the potential to turn heads along with its dials and brilliant-cut diamonds at either end of the case, which features the Duetto concept. The twin sets of hands are driven by a single movement: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 844.

To add to the glamour, the visitors will also have a chance to view some exclusivities during DWJE, including the Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee, presented in a limited series of 75 pieces only. This piece is astonishingly innovative and complex with its multi-axis tourbillon comprising two cages, set at two different angles, turning opposite directions, at different speeds, with a blued spherical balance spring beating like a heart in their centre. In the absence of a bridge, the tourbillon appears to defy the laws of gravity. It also incorporates a fully integrated chronograph, which displays the seconds on a traditional round dial and elapsed minutes on an instantaneously jumping digital counter. The Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee represents mechanical sophistication of the highest order.

Since its creation, Jaeger-LeCoultre has made precision an art form in its own right, balancing skills and artistry with sophistication and esthetic finesse. With both the 2019 novelties and the exclusivities, Jaeger-LeCoultre is sure to please the watch aficionado who appreciates Fine Watchmaking.
