HAKKASAN DOHA CELEBRATES THE FESTIVE SEASON WITH SEVERAL GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCES BUSRTING WITH CANTONESE FLAVOURS



Leading award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan Doha, announces new inventive concepts and plans beginning in December. Whether looking for a stirring new Friday “Botanical Brunch Experience”, a chilled “Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch” offering or even a remarkable mid-week evening out, Hakkasan welcomes guests for a gastronomic experience bursting with Cantonese flavours. Hakkasan will be also kicking-off the festive season early this year with a special menu running from December 1 until December 31 along with its New Year’s Eve curated menu.


Starting with the indulgent Friday Botanical Brunch Experience, this extravagant brunch is in collaboration with one of the most renowned infused botanical brand makers in the world. Guests are invited to this wonderfully inventive Cantonese brunch with a unique twist, every Friday through December 24th, from 12pm to 4pm, for QAR 498, to pair expertly crafted infused botanical drinks and spirits with each bite of this expansive five-course meal. Regular brunch beverages will still be available upon request, in addition to fruit blended beverages for QAR 308 per person. The refined and stylish outdoor terrace, officially launched back in October, offers an incredible and lavish space, making it the perfect setting for this sophisticated weekend brunch in town.


The Botanical Brunch Experience will be offering guests the Shou menu which is inspired by one of the ‘5 blessings’ signifying long life, happiness, and harmony. This menu provides guests a unique dining experience and includes favourites such as signature Peking duck, a delectable array of dim sum and small eats, mouth-watering main courses and finishes with a Chef’s selection of seasonal desserts.


On December 31, the Botanical Brunch Experience will be transformed back to Hakka Brunch, available each Friday from 12pm to 4pm, with pricing starting at QAR 308 per person, for non-enhanced beverages and QAR 498 for enhanced beverages. The selection of menu items remains the same with Hakka Brunch serving the Shou menu, but with regular brunch beverages.


Next up is the special Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch, available every Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm, featuring everything from the always-popular Roasted duck pumpkin dumplings to Wagyu beef puff and King crab dumplings for QAR 98 for three baskets or QAR 148 for five baskets, with three pieces of dim sum in each basket. Dim sum means ‘touching the heart’ in Cantonese. Dim Sum, Then Sum Lunch engages with the unique elements of our personality. Calmness, tranquility and humility are translated into a simple, elegant, and vibrant experience that is unique to Hakkasan’s Chinese roots.


Finally, guests are welcomed to celebrate this year’s festive season in style with two exclusive menus starting December 1 until December 31, including the Festive menu and the New Year’s Eve menu. The exclusive ‘Festive Pine menu’ is priced at QAR 478 per person, inclusive of fruit blend, water, soft drink, and tea, and for QAR 648 per person, inclusive of welcome enhanced beverages. For starters, guests are treated to a festive Dim Sum platter, Crispy prawns with mustard wasabi, the signature Peking duck, Crispy orange chicken with Beluga caviar, alongside many other dishes. Finally, the menu will end with the sweet ‘caviar’.


End 2021 with the exclusive ‘New Year’s Eve Plum Blossom menu’, a symbol of purity and resilience, which will be available exclusively on December 31. This menu will be ideal to welcome 2022 with four decadent courses, starting with the New Year’s Eve Steamed dim sum platter, Double-boiled chicken soup with coconut, and the Salmon crudo. Delightful main courses include Honey pepper chicken with bee pollen, Charcoal grilled Wagyu beef with Asian sauce, Barbecued Chilean seabass, Stir-fry broccolini and the Fried trio organic jasmine rice. Lastly, an exquisite Pistachio Financier will be plated for dessert. Priced at QAR 448 per person, this special menu is available for two parties or more and for an additional QAR 300 per person, guests can enjoy a fine selection of welcome enhanced beverages.
