GIVENCHY PRESENTS THE KENNY HANDBAG

Inspired by couture savoir-faire, the statement bag of Spring 2022 is party-ready.

Givenchy presents the Kenny handbag, an essential accessory inspired by its couture heritage and the fresh momentum Matthew M. Williams has brought in his role as Creative Director of the Parisian house.

A true day-to-evening fashion statement, the Kenny is a supple bourse-style handbag that nods to evening yet offers enhanced versatility thanks to the Creative Director’s vision and signature flair for hardware.

Crafted in extremely soft calf leather, the Kenny has a very intricate, rounded construction with distinctive hand-draped folds interspersed with G-Cube elements. Its graceful, feminine allure finds a counterpoint in double G-Cube chain straps as well as Givenchy's now-iconic padlock. Luxurious yet practical details include a shoulder piece also in soft calf leather and a discreet yet secure magnetic closure that fastens with a crisp, satisfying sound.

Other Kenny designs include one in organza crafted using the couture techniques for which the House is renowned, a savoir-faire that also was highlighted on selected pieces in the Givenchy Spring-Summer 2022 runway show. Another variation, fully embroidered with mother-of-pearl, also appears in the current Spring-Summer campaign.

The Kenny features in Givenchy’s Spring-Summer 2022 advertising campaign lensed by the Korean-born German photographer Heji Shin.

The Givenchy Kenny handbag is priced from 1,390 euros for the mini satin version to 4,500 euros for the organza or mother-of-pearl versions.

The Kenny will be available in selected Givenchy boutiques and online starting from 25th February
