ALFREDO HÄBERLI’S ALFREDO COLLECTION FOR GEORG JENSEN

Bring style and energy to your daily routine with vibrant designs from Alfredo Häberli.ABOUT

GEORG JENSEN:

With a history that spans more than 100 years, the Georg Jensen brand represents quality craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design, producing lifestyle products ranging from hollowware to watches, jewellery and home products.

The philosophy of Georg Jensen himself was to create democratic designs possessing both functionality and beauty. His artisanal skill and artistic talent combined with his continuous ability to identify and support design talent was the foundation on which he built Georg Jensen in Copenhagen in 1904.

Georg Jensen’s style embraced the Art Nouveau lines of the day but injected them with adistinctive vigor that continues to resonate today. Serene flowing forms are enriched by exquisitely sculpted ornamentation and his stylized bouquets of flowers and lush bunches of grapes reflect his sensual delight in nature. Our most important task is to leverage the ideas and principles of the master himself and translate these into the design of the present day.

Elevate the everyday with Alfredo Häberli’s quirky and expressive Alfredo collection for Georg Jensen, where he takes everyday objects and injects them with a playful sense of joy.

The modern, ergonomically designed kitchen-to-dining room collection, which features an elongated carafe with wooden stopper, a wide-brimmed bowl in stainless steel and oak wood salad servers, among many others, stand out for their elegantly lighthearted designs.

Using bold natural shapes, Häberli takes mundane objects, like candleholders and vases, and gives them a quirky sense of style, creating small characters that play a part in your home and prove that functional need never be boring.

Elegant and modern, the Alfredo carafe is a striking example of how an everyday object can be made into something special without sacrificing functionality. The gracefully tapered neck is not only beautiful, but it also makes the decanter easy to hold when pouring. And the quirky oak stopper makes the carafe a talking point over dinner while also providing practical use.

Swiss Argentinian Alfredo Häberli has always believed that the objects you use every day should be given a sense of character and style in order for an element of fun to be injected into the home. Breathing life and humor into everyday objects, his sculptural shapes attract attention but never at the expense of functionality.
