LG PuriCare Air Purifiers Remove 99% of Airborne Allergens to Significantly Improve Health and Wellbeing
Asthma continues to be a serious global health problem, causing strain on healthcare systems, loss of productivity and disruption to daily life. Exposure to indoor air pollution and allergens such as house dust mites, pet dander and mold can contribute towards both causing and aggravating respiratory conditions. In recognition of World Asthma Day (May 5), LG (Electronics) continues to demonstrate its investment in advanced technologies to reduce exposure to major indoor air pollutants and improve wellbeing.
Indoor air pollution can be between two to five times higher than outdoor air pollution. With people spending up to 90% of their time indoors, it is more crucial than ever for homeowners to also consider how to protect their internal environments and mitigate flareups for asthma sufferers. With the Qatar government prioritizing the reduction of air pollution to achieve environmental sustainability, one of the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, LG is aligned with its own ambition to educate on the importance of improving indoor air quality.
Those who have been impacted by asthma, whether personally or through their families, are striving to create healthier environments to ease respiratory issues. LG is helping improve indoor air quality with its range of advanced air purifiers. These air purifiers include the LG PuriCare single and double tower models, which each use deodorizing HEPA filters and a 360-degree purification mechanism to absorb pollutants more efficiently and harmful substances such as airborne bacteria. They also feature a Clean Booster, which rises and rotates to deliver clean air to all corners of a room, via a 70° Rotation Circulator. With the added benefit of its Clean Booster, the PuriCare can remove dust up to 74% faster than conventional air purifier mechanisms.
Believing that clean air should be accessible wherever a person goes, LG also recently launched the world’s first filter-type, portable air purifier across markets in the Gulf region. With people spending more time on-the-go, the PuriCare Mini is designed to deliver on the promise of clean air, no matter where a user may be.
In today’s climate, which sees people spending more time at home, whether working remotely from the make-shift office, relaxing by the television, preparing a healthy meal or joining an online fitness class, LG’s PuriCare Mini can easily be transported from room to room.
When it comes to portability, the PuriCare Mini weighs a mere 530 grams – similar in likeness to a 500ml bottle of water. Even with its sleek profile, the compact device can deliver fast and efficient air purification, via its own unique 4-step filtration system. PuriCare Mini also have holders for cars and strollers as accessories, making it easy to access clean air for every movement.
For asthma and allergy suffers, the importance of quality and comprehensiveness are especially important. LG air purifiers have been recognized by various global health certification bodies for their thorough antibacterial cleaning abilities. Among a host of other accreditations, the LG PuriCare single and double tower models are both Asthma & Allergy Friendly certified – reducing bio-allergen airborne levels by 75% or greater over time. In addition, the British Allergy Foundation has given its seal of approval, commending the ability of the single and double tower models to prevent allergens which can cause respiratory and skin diseases.
LG’s PuriCare Mini also comes with its own acclaim, with the model’s optical dust sensor Korean Air Cleaning Association certified for its ability to detect and remove super-fine dust. Additionally, British quality assurance and product testing giant – Intertek has certified the PuriCare Mini as capable of removing up to 99% of 0.3-micron ultra-fine dust particles from the environment.
With LG’s promise of delivering intuitive solutions, the company’s air purifiers are also operational via smartphone applications – the LG ThinQ app for the single and double tower PuriCare models and a custom-built LG PuriCare Mini app for the portable model. Available on both Android and iOS devices, with each application, users can control airflow speed, conduct real-time air quality checks, see the status of their filter’s lifespan and more.
As a company focused on improving the quality of life for citizens around the world, LG Electronics (LG) continues to invest in improving the efficiency of its range of air purifiers – helping residents manage their home environments with greater visibility and ease.
The LG PuriCare Air Purifiers are available at the introductory prices of QAR 799 for the Mini, QAR 2,499 for Single tower and QAR 3,999 for the double tower. Interested customers can purchase these products at leading hypermarkets and retailers in Qatar.
